February 9-11 — High School Winter Getaway

This is a retreat that gives high school kids special time away to play in the snow, hang out with friends, & get quality time with God in a winter-wonderland atmosphere. We’re going to La Porte’s Union Hotel — a cozy & elegant venue in historic gold country, surrounded by Lassen National Forest. And we get the whole place to ourselves! We will depart at 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 9 (meet at BPC at 3:00). We will return Around 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 11. How much? $150. This cost covers transportation, Friday’s dinner through Sunday’s brunch, and two nights at this exclusive hotel. Register here.

Service Trips

March 17-24 — Spring Break Service Trip

Every year, Refuge kids decide to spend their spring vacation serving others. Sometimes we go to Mexico, sometimes we go to a U.S. city to serve those who need to see Jesus through our actions. This year, we’re headed to Rockport, Texas to help clean up in the wake of devastating hurricanes. While our exact activities will be determined as we get closer, we do know we will be helping with clean up and rebuilding activities like painting. We will not be doing any mold abatement or mold-related work. A local church will house and feed us during our stay.

We will have informational meetings on January 7th (12:30-1:30 in the Student Center) and 10th (7 p.m. – 8 p.m. at 131).

Due to airline deadlines, all registrations are due by midnight on January 28th, along with a nonrefundable $150 deposit. If you already know you’d like to come, click here to submit your $100 today. A registration packet is also required to complete registration; that will be made available shortly!
