Service Trips

March 17-24 — Spring Break Service Trip — Registration due January 28th

Every year, Refuge kids decide to spend their spring vacation serving others. Sometimes we go to Mexico, sometimes we go to a U.S. city to serve those who need to see Jesus through our actions. This year, we’re headed to Rockport, Texas to help clean up in the wake of devastating hurricanes. While our exact activities will be determined as we get closer, we do know we will be helping with clean up and rebuilding activities like painting. We will not be doing any mold abatement or mold-related work. A local church will house and feed us during our stay.

Fundraising Prizes

We’ve got prizes for fundraising! If you’re the high school student who raises the most funding for the trip, you’ll win a Nintendo Switch! If you’re a high school student who slides into second place, you’ll get a pair of noise-canceling headphones! You do not have to be a service trip participant to raise funds — although we definitely hope you choose to join us! We will continue fundraising right up until March 16th, the day before our departure, but funding that will count toward the prizes must be received by Sunday, March 4th. Prizes will be given on Wednesday, March 7th at Refuge.

Financial Partnership

As a group, we are raising $20,000 to cover flights, housing, meals, and ground transportation for our entire group. We got off to a great start through our Tri-tip Dinner Fundraiser on January 19th, and we are SO thankful to all who purchased a dinner or helped us make the dinner run smoothly!

If you would like to give a donation, click the button to the right. Your financial partnership makes this service trip possible. Only a small group of us are going, but the prayers and support of people like travel with us!
