Why Worship?
The Westminster Catechism sums it up perfectly: "The chief end of human beings is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever!" C. S. Lewis put it this way: "We are created to worship God and if we don't worship God we will most certainly worship something else."
Elements of true worship
- It must be directed toward the living God
- It must build up the church
- It will always depend on the presence of the Holy Spirit
