Brian and his wife Angie have three children, Nate, Ella and Sam. Brian loves to be outdoors hiking, biking, climbing and swimming in Bidwell Park or in the mountains every chance he gets. Brian has been involved in youth ministry for more than 20 years and 15 years in full-time ministry. Brian’s perspective on faith can be summed up by Mike Yaconelli: “Shouldn’t everyone be awed and dazzled by Christians? Shouldn’t Christians be known by the fire in their souls, the wild-eyed gratitude in their faces, the twinkle in their eyes, and a holy mischief in their demeanors? Shouldn’t those who call themselves Christians be filled with awe, astonishment, and amazement?”

Brian is a graduate of Chico State and has been involved at Bidwell Presbyterian for nine years. While in college he served with children's ministry and as the college intern. After graduating Chico State in 2004 he was hired to start Zone 56 for 5th and 6th graders (now known as Upper Kidwell Park). Brian now works with our Jr. High students as the programs coordinator. He is currently pursuing his graduate degree at Chico State to be a Marriage and Family Therapist. Recreationally, Brian loves to mountain bike, paddle board, long board, and just about anything outdoors!

Recently married, Dave has been part of the BPC family for over four years, serving high school students. With a love for creativity, keeping things fresh, and walking alongside youth, Dave loves youth ministry! Dave takes classes at Fuller Theological Seminary on weekends in Sacramento, and is excited to enter pastoral ministry down the road. Until then (and most likely once there), Dave's passion lies in an ice cold Dr. Pepper, a good action movie, and his very own bruschetta pizza. With a love for family, exploring waterfalls, or traveling anywhere, Dave enjoys the adventures life brings.
Some of Dave's favorite quotes are:
"We must live, not just exist." - unknown
"What we do in life echoes eternity."-Maximus
