What is "Discovering BPC?"
Discovering BPC classes are intended for individuals seeking to explore the Christian faith, as well as the life and ministry of Bidwell Presbyterian Church. Attending the classes does not mean that you are committed to unite in membership with the church. We welcome the opportunity to get to know you better and help you make an informed decision about the Christian faith and our congregation.
Topics Covered:
What does it mean to be a Christian?
How do you grow in the Christian faith?
How can you connect with the life of our congregation?
What growth opportunities does Bidwell offer?
What service opportunities does Bidwell offer?
What does church membership mean and what are its benefits?
What makes the Presbyterian denomination unique?
What is the purpose and vision of Bidwell?
Class Formats:
Discovering BPC classes are offered in three formats throughout the year.
- 5-week format-- on Wednesday evenings 6:30 – 7:45 P.M.
- Weekend format-- Friday evening 6:00 – 8:30 P.M., Saturday 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. (lunch included)
- 2-week format-- Thursdays from 5:30-9:00pm (dinner included).
Childcare:
Free childcare is automatically provided during the 5 week format. For the Weekend and 2-week format, we will provide free childcare upon advance request.
Registration:
