Connecting and Equipping
The purpose of the Connecting and Equipping Ministry is to provide a clear process of/for assimilation of visitors whether seekers, returners or strong believers into the life of the church. The greater purpose is to create distinct opportunities for all who attend to grow deep in their relationship with Jesus Christ, grow up in community fellowship of believer and grow out in grateful service.

H.O.S.T. Volunteer
The HOST Volunteers at Bidwell Presbyterian Church are simply a team of folks who commit to serve one Sunday every eight weeks to being aware of the people on our campus.
HOST (Hospitality, Outreach, Serve, Team) has also been called S.W.A.T (Serving, Welcoming, Assisting, Troubleshooting). We desire to have everyone on our campus feel safe and want our pastors to be fully focused on miistering to the congregation and on preaching the good news of God's love to all of us. We strive to be aware of many other needs of people who come onto our campus. We help provide direction to classrooms, sanctuary, or restrooms; we bring out the umbrellas in the rain; open doors for you when your hands are full, and so on. Our teams serve as "Angels of Mercy" looking for ways to encourage or serve people.
Teams are made up of six to eight people, committing to one entire Sunday morning, once every eight weeks. This is a great opportunity to serve the children's ministry, the greater church staff, the congregation, and be on a team where relationship happens, and you get to wear matching shirts! We hope you will join us!
Click here for the HOST application. Background checks are required. It will not cost you anything. Print out the application, complete it and return it to the church office to the attention of Jaclyn.
