FALL CALENDAR
September 2 - "Relevant" Midweek Gathering - kick off
Thursdays 7:30 pm at the Grand Ballroom (Dowtown on 3rd Street & Broadway, above Starbucks). Starts September 2. This is our college midweek time to gather together to dig into the Bible, discuss relevant college topics, and hang out together! The Ballroom is cool and right downtown, so enjoy the Farmer’s Market and then head upstairs for “Relevant!”
September 5 - Jesus Center Breakfast
If you want to help serve breakfast with our college ministry on the first Sunday of each month at the Jesus Center, contact Ashleigh Ellis (ashleigh.brennan@gmail.com) or Spencer Cooper (scooper16@mail.csuchico.edu). The next breakfast is September 5th at 7:30am.
September 7 - Zambia Sharing Night
7:00pm—8:30pm at Bidwell Pres in room 210.
Come hear from the team of 8 college students who traveled to Zambia in June 2010. They will have pictures and stories of God's work in Africa. If you have questions, contact Crystal Lutton at clutton@bidwellpres.org.
September 10 - Night Hike
We are hiking up Mt. Lassen in the evening on September 10th! This is a tradition and the view of the moon will be AMAZING! Bring friends to this event, its a great way to connect and meet other people. Meet at the Bidwell Pres parking lot at 4pm and we’ll caravan. Bring water bottle and flashlight. September 17 & 18 - Women's Event at BPC
BPC College women... Join us on September 17 and 18 for a special BPC women's event "Connecting Women - Building Friendships." Presented by Debbie Whaley from the First Presbyterian Church in Berkeley. Food, fun and friendships guaranteed. Best of all, we are giving college students a discounted price of $20 per person. Log-on to www.lovechico.org to volunteer for your favorite project. Don’t miss this opportunity to join with other college students and Chico churches in serving our community! There will be no Five Forty Five on this day, as we encourage all of you to pick a project and get involved in this city-wide service day.
October 15-17 - Fall Retreat - Let's Go Camping!
