Barna’s research indicates that children’s moral development is fairly set by the time they are nine years of age! Thank you for sharing your gifts with the kids at Bidwell Presbyterian. This is a high calling to work in this ministry, and God can teach each of us so much as we walk alongside children and their parents.

Kids in Extreme Service!

KIXS is for kids in second through eighth grade who would like an opportunity to explore gifts and serve in Kidwell Park. We have periodic training times for children who would like to share their gifts on Sunday mornings!

A/V/L Team: Assist in worship and large group portions of Kidwell Park. Follow written directions to cue music lyrics using Media Shout, cue song choices on CD, run lights and other technical parts of production. Requirements: Ability to attend to details, follow written instructions

Nursery Team: Greet, play with toddlers, read books, and other duties as assigned by the nursery staff. *This team will not be changing, holding or feeding babies.

Preschool Team: Greet, play with and assist children during the preschool program. Requirement: Must be at least 2 years older than the children served in the program.

K/1 Team: Greet, play with and assist children during the K/1 program. Requirement: Must be at least 2 years older than the children served in the program.

2nd / 3rd / 4th Team: Greet, play with and assist children during their program. Requirement: Must be at least 2 years older than the children served in the program.

Administration Team: Organize, set up, and put away activity stations, and small group supplies.

Drama/Teaching Team: Participate in large group presentations. Requirements: Enjoy speaking in front of others, ability to memorize and rehearse small parts.

Worship Leader: Lead vocals and hand motions during worship. Requirements: Ability to memorize, rehearse music, motions, availability to rehearse and lead at both the 9:30 and 11 services. Worship leaders will serve in teams periodically through the year and will be contacted as space is available.
