Barnabas -
A Men's Ministry of Bidwell Presbyterian
What We Believe:
The Barnabas Men's Ministry at Bidwell Presbyterian Church is focused on helping men to discover their faith, by growing spiritually, and developing a deeper, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. One that helps men to become bold, mature and wise ambassadors of Jesus Christ in their families, workplaces, schools and communities. Our ministry to men recognizes that every man is at a different stage of his Christian walk. We offer fellowship and spiritual growth opportunities so that no matter where you are on your individual faith journey, every man will feel welcome and comfortable joining us. We have learned that when men gather together in common purpose, they really do impact each other’s lives.
"Let us not give up meeting together – but let us encourage one another." - Hebrews10:25
Barnabas meets on Wednesday mornings, 6:30 a.m. in the Bidwell Presbyterian Westminster Fellowship Hall for breakfast. Greg Cootsona leads the teaching the 2nd & 4th Wednesday each month. Come join us!

Small groups are open for every age, ethnic or spiritual background, whether you are just
beginning to learn about God or have been on your spiritual journey to pursue full devotion to Christ for some time.
Men’s small groups are a great way to connect with other men who face the same day-to-day questions. In a small group, you can ask questions about parenting, your relationship with your son or daughter, what they may be going through, or God… and get answers from the Bible or from the experiences of other men you come to trust. You can talk informally about life in a way that you can’t anywhere else, among friends you trust who are a lot like you - facing everyday parenting struggles, personal challenges or spiritual issues. You will come away with practical solutions, relational tools and a game plan to help you grow.
If these questions have crossed your mind, you are not alone! There is a gathering of men who are finding answers to these and many other questions about who they are and where they are going in life.
Contact the church office if you are interested in getting involved in a Men's Small Group.
