TERM 4 - Feb 29 - Mar 28  WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Prayer: Getting to Know God (Laura Cootsona)
Many of us feel challenged to know how to build a relationship with the God of the universe. The Bible offers us many examples of prayers that will guide us into a more intimate relationship with God. During these 5 weeks, Laura will take us into the scriptures to learn how to pray and to guide us in prayer exercises. Laura will work hard to adapt prayer practices to various stages of life whether you are a new parent, retired, single, or married.

Faith, Hope, and Love in a World of Hurt
(Greg Cootsona)

Life brings its share of hurt, and, at the same time, the Bible calls us to a life of faith, hope, and love. If you find yourself in a “world of hurt” during this season of Lent or would like to deepen in caring for those who suffer around you, come and discover great Christian thinkers, the Scriptures, and how these give us comfort and strength in difficult times. This could also be part of your Lenten preparation for Easter. This class will be taught twice: first as a shorter version at noon in the Sanctuary and then in the evening at the regular WOW time (6:30pm).
