Bidwell's CORE Classes

CORE CLASSES

These are classes designed to help move you along a directed pathway of spiritual growth. We have recently updated our CORE class list to include a new class about living a missional life. It is recommended (though not required) that these classes be taken in order since each one strategically launches you into the next class's subject matter.

6 CORE CLASSES:

  1. Discovering BPC - An introduction to our church, the Presbyterian denomination, and the basics of the Christian faith.
  2. Heart of Our Faith - An exploration of the basic elements of the Christian faith and what Christ has done for us. A compfortable environment for you to ask the tough questions about the heart of our faith.
  3. Discovering the Bible - An overview of the Bible, its history, and its relevance for us today.
  4. Getting Closer to God (A.K.A. "Spiritual Disciplines") -Learn about spiritual disciplines that will grow your relationship with God and deepen your faith.
  5. Gifts and Call - Learn how God has uniquely wired you and the gifts He's given you.
  6. Missional Life - Learn how to live out God's mission in the world through the relationships, partnerships, and circles you are already in.

We try to offer 2 to 3 of our CORE Classes each term, with additional weekend classes throughout the year so that you can easily complete all 6 courses in any order within 1 or 2 years. It is not required that these classes be taken in order, though we do recommend it.
