  • Brian Solecki - Associate Pastor

Brian has been with Bidwell Pres since July 2008.  Brian and his wife Angie have three children, Nate, Ella and Sam. Brian loves to be outdoors hiking, biking, climbing and swimming in Bidwell Park or in the mountains every chance he gets. Brian has been involved in youth ministry for more than 20 years and 15 years in full-time ministry. Brian’s perspective on faith can be summed up by Mike Yaconelli: “Shouldn’t everyone be awed and dazzled by Christians? Shouldn’t Christians be known by the fire in their souls, the wild-eyed gratitude in their faces, the twinkle in their eyes, and a holy mischief in their demeanors? Shouldn’t those who call themselves Christians be filled with awe, astonishment, and amazement?”

  • Shannon Christopher - Associate Pastor

Shannon has been with Bidwell Presbyterian Church since August 2011, after graduating from Princeton Theological Seminary.  She is the Associate Pastor for Congregational Care and Women's Ministries. Shannon responded to her call from God after having had two previous careers, living in New York City and Chicago. She loves being a mother to Rylan and spends a lot of her free time having fun with him and their two dogs. Her family is from Wisconsin and she grew up outside of Chicago (just to be clear, she is a Packers fan, not a Bears fan!). She loves music, art and design, and different types of ethnic food. She enjoys having access to beautiful nature in this part of the state, but also needs to get a "city fix" once in a while. She considers it a privilege to pastor at BPC and desires that each person feels cared for in our family of God.

  • Allen McCallum - Teaching Pastor

Allen McCallum has been a Teaching Pastor for Adult Discipleship since 2004.  His first set of wheels was a 1956 Dodge and his nickname is Scotty.  Once, while visiting a Presbyterian mission station in Western Ethiopia he caught a 94 pound Nile Perch!  He and his wife, Jessie, like to eat seafood at Red Lobster.  Allen likes it here because of the wonderful community, people and congregation!
