Growing Up
As we Grow Deep in relationship with God through worship and individual spiritual growth, we want to Grow Up in community with one another.
As we have grown as a church, we have become increasingly concerned about welcoming new people, helping them get connected, and integrating them into the life of the church.
As we grow larger, we must also grow smaller at the same time. In light of this, the Next Chapter strategy calls for a new ministry position for Connecting, Equipping and Group Life which will focus on creating a clear discipleship process that leads every member, attender and visitor into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, into Christian community, and into God’s mission. This ministry position will help people discover their own giftedness and direct them to ministries which will best suit their gifts. It will also establish Real Life Groups to help people grow up together in community through meaningful relationships with a tight-knit group of people.
We look forward with joy to the many ways we will be Growing Up together through community and ministry to one another.
