Growing Deep
As a church, we exist to grow deep in our individual relationships with God. There are many ways our congregation is “Growing Deep”.
In our recent church-wide survey, we found that worship at BPC is the strongest aspect of our congregation. People said they regularly experience God’s presence and joy in worship, and that their worship experience has encouraged significant spiritual growth. They also said that preaching and worship are significant strengths of the church.
Since remodeling our sanctuary in 2005, our average weekly attendance has increased by 25% to 875. Our renovated sanctuary, classrooms and Fellowship Hall are ministry tools which have been critical to this growth. Our Next Chapter plan recognizes this growth as a foundational piece as we Grow Up and Grow Out.
In the future, we’d like to continue to develop excellent and meaningful worship experiences. We want to continue to experience God’s presence in worship while also attracting new people. We desire to encourage people to deepen their personal relationship with God through prayer, Scripture study and reflection.
