As people are increasingly using alternate methods to conduct commerce, BPC has chosen to offer automated giving capabilities to those who are interested. We can also accommodate donations of stock and other securities.

2010 Estimate of Giving Card

If you missed being able to be apart of Celebration Sunday, you can download an Estimate of Giving Card and return it to the Church Office.

Automatic Withdraw (ACH)

You can authorize BPC to initiate recurring gifts from your bank account. Please download the ACH form, fill it out and return it to the church office.

Bill Pay

If you use an automated bill-pay system through your existing bank account, you can set up Bidwell Presbyterian Church as a payee. You can then determine the frequency and amount of each gift.

When prompted by your online bank, please list both the church name and address as follows:

Stock and Other Securities Gifts

If you are a person with appreciated assets, you may want to consider transferring the assets to the church. There are tax advantages to giving appreciated securities that have been held for more than a year.

If you were to sell your securities, there would be a potential capital gains tax. However, because the church is a tax-exempt entity, giving gifts of securities to the church before you sell them would eliminate the capital gains tax. You would be able to deduct 100% of the market value of the security as a charitable contribution deduction.
