Financial Stewardship: A Spiritual Discipline
The Bible teaches us to give generously and sacrificially. From the tithe prescribed in the Old Testament (Deuteronomy 14:12ff) to the call in the New Testament for us to be cheerful givers (2 Corinthians 9:7), scripture teaches that we are to give a portion of our income to the work of God’s kingdom. BPC is committed to introducing people to Jesus Christ and helping them follow Him. Your generosity is critical to the ongoing support of this work and allows you to participate in the kingdom-building mission of BPC, here in Chico and around the world.
2012 Stewardship Campaign
November 20th was Celebration Sunday where we thanked God for his faithfulness and filled out an Estimate of Giving card for 2012. Attached is the online version of the card. Can you help us to complete our 2012 effort by printing the card, filling it out and returning it to the church this week? Once we have received the Estimate of Giving cards, we can then make decisions about our ministry programs that affect our congregation, community and world. We appreciate your help in bringing this exciting process to a successful conclusion.
