We offer a variety of support groups to help individuals, couples and families deal with various life issues. Support groups provide a ring of supportive love and care around an individual who finds him/herself in a time of crisis, challenge, and/or heartache. All Support Group Leaders have received extensive and on-going training. The leader of each Support Group has walked through the specific crisis in which s/he serves, and having found Christ’s love, compassion and direction out of his/her pain, to grow into serving others through His grace and guidance. If you have questions about any of these groups, you may contact the leader, or call our church office at 343-1484.
Mondays 6:00 – 8:00 pm
If you want freedom from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits we encourage you to check out Celebrate Recovery on Monday nights here at Bidwell Presbyterian Church. This ministry seeks to celebrate God’s healing and redemptive power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles” Celebrate Recovery is based on.
We invite you to attend this ministry to experience change, allow God’s grace to help you solve life’s problems, and allow Him to release you from your addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors that have been holding you back from authentic joy in your life.
We meet every Monday (except for Holidays when the church office is closed), 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Bidwell Presbyterian Church, 208 W. 1st Street, in the main church building (entrance in back). Registration is not required. Drop in any time. The cost of the workbook is $27 and participants can pay at class. For more information call the church office at 343-1484.

Whether you’re going through a divorce or you’ve been divorced for a while, you don’t have to go it alone.
DivorceCare can help you recover from the pain of separation and divorce. Our program uses a DVD-based curriculum developed by a national Christian organization. Each week there’s a lesson followed by small group discussion. Discussions are facilitated by trained volunteers who’ve personally experienced divorce and have successfully managed its consequences.
DivorceCare occurs Wednesday of every week from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. ending November 29, 2017. DivorceCare is a 13-week course that meets at Bidwell Presbyterian Church, Room 112, in the main Sanctuary building. This is a confidential, grace-filled, environment for individuals who wish to find help. Drop in at any point. Childcare is available with a two week advance notice. Contact the office at 343-1484 to register for childcare. There is a $20 fee for the DivorceCare workbook.
Thursdays 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Suddenly, we find that we have become the parent of our parent: making critical decisions and dealing with their care giving. Or, the spouse we grew through life with is no longer the same person…Alzheimer’s, another form of dementia, or another debilitating disease has stolen his/her personality. Either situation is demanding, uncertain, and often requires care giving 24 hours, seven days a week.
Join us to explore resources and find ways to cope during this difficult journey. Journey With The Aging meets once a month, every second Tuesday, 7:00 pm – 8:30 p.m. in Room 012 at BPC.
